The open-access journal Ecology and Society has just published a Special Feature on “The Effects of Roads and Traffic on Wildlife Populations and Landscape Function”.The paper by Clevenger and Sawaya on “Piloting a Non-Invasive Genetic Sampling Method for Evaluating Population-Level Benefits of Wildlife Crossing Structures” may be especially relevant for wildlife conservation in western North America.
